Social Video Seeding and Content Marketing

What is Syndicated Distribution

Video Seeding and Content Marketing is growing and is currently influencing business plans, investment decisions, technology development and partnership deals. In the Video Promotion Economy” video content providers dramatically increase distribution points to gain access to fragmented audiences.

The Syndicated Video and Content Marketing Economy has several important differentiators from the traditional approach.

Traditional Approach Syndicated Approach
Web site Social networks, portals, devices
Attracting eyeballs Accessing eyeballs

What does “syndication” mean when we talk about digital video content?
Ultimately, syndication is about taking one piece of video content and distributing it through many networks or a ‘multi-point.s”

Why Syndication

Why should video content publishers and other video professionals care about syndication? The old model, which is still the current mode online used by many is not really working. Its, “I’m just going to put it up and have only one place for people to come.” Ultimately for the video content producer, you really need to get it in front of as many people’s eyeballs as possible. You need to build your audience, manage your content, and measure your audience.

Why Syndication Social

We have been producing online video content since 2000 and building content marketing and video distribution campaigns for over 7 years. Our largest social video distribution project commenced in Oct 2005 in Niseko Japan for the Hanazono area. During that time we had to build brand awareness for the area and as Niseko is the 2nd snowiest resort on the globe, exciting informative snackable video was the chosen medium.  An intense distribution strategy was crafted consisting of syndicating video content globally across Cable, Travel & Extreme VOD sites, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter,Mobile, Podcast Networks,Foreign blogs and P2P.

On our last year the Niseko Hanazono Youtube channel alone received over 1.3 million views in the 2009/10 winter.

“At a global level, Chris has made a significant and substantial contribution to the success that Hanazono and Niseko enjoy. Niseko is now highly regarded from an international perspective, is regularly rated in the “10 top resorts in the world” and is now the single preferred ski resort destination for Australians and increasingly, for many South-East Asians. For that, Chris can take a great deal of credit.”
